What Youll Be Doing
Youll play a pivotal role within the planning team leading a range of complex and varied projects while supporting Directors and Senior Principals across planning project management business development and broader office initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently manage projects of various types and sizes.
- Providing mentorship guidance and supervision to a growing team of planners
- Liaise with clients government authorities and consultants with professionalism and ease
- Preparing fee proposals and tender submissions
- Represent the companyin client meetings public forums hearings and briefings
- Overseeing timing outputs and budgets while upholding quality assurance standards
- Contributing to business operations administration and development activities
- Use your awareness of current economic social and environmental issues.
What Were Looking For
Were searching for a strategic thinker with a collaborative nature someone who brings both planning expertise and a passion for leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Planning or a related discipline
- Over 10 years of fulltime planning experience
- Strong working knowledge of local planning legislation regulation and policy ideally locally to Queensland must have Australian or New Zealand experience
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination business management and team leadership
- Eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia
- A current Driver Licence (preferred but not essential)
- A proactive attitude genuine enthusiasm and professional drive
