Business Administration Apprenticeship Worldwide Logistics Group UK


About the employer:


We are a division of Worldwide Logistics Group a leading 3PL headquartered in the United States providing sophisticated integrated logistics solutions for more than 7000 companies in more than 100 countries and has evolved to become a global leader in transport and logistics.


Overview of role:


To assist freight operations department with administration.


Key details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5pm) 37.5 hrs per week
  • Wage: 7.55 per hour.
  • Location: Unit 16 Thames Gateway Park Chequers Lane Dagenham Enland RM9 6FB.

Apprenticeship details:

  • Qualification: Level 3 Business Administration
  • Duration of course: 18 months
  • Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK!)
  • All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside role.


Full Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Data entry: Accurately inputting information into spreadsheets and databases
    • File management: Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files
    • Meeting coordination: Scheduling meetings preparing agendas and taking minutes
    • Email management: Responding to emails forwarding messages and managing inboxes
    • Telephone support: Answering phone calls and directing inquiries to appropriate staff
    • Document preparation: Creating and formatting documents such as letters reports and presentations
    • Basic office tasks: Copying scanning and faxing documents
    • Calendar management: Scheduling appointments and managing team calendars

    Skills & Personal Qualities:

    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Teamoriented with a collaborative spirit
    • Basic understanding of standard office procedures

    Qualifications Requirements:

    • GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) English (Grade 4) essential
    • GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) Maths (Grade 4) essential
