About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and handson IT Manager to lead our IT function and drive the strategic and operational management of all information technology systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic missiondriven environment and is ready to make a meaningful impact across multiple sites and programs.
Youll manage the relationship with our external Managed Services Provider (MSP) lead IT governance and compliance initiatives deliver responsive technology support and develop digital solutions to help our teams work smarter and more securely.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and primarily working from our Brunswick office we are looking for an experienced professional with a strong service ethic a collaborative approach and passion for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of reliable and secure daytoday IT services and support through the MSP
- Provide local IT support and staff training across our sites (Brunswick Oakleigh Richmond).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding hardware software phone internet network server access and WiFi with support from the MSP.
- Manage outsourced IT services and monitor and manage the delivery of services against the contract and agreed SLAs.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organisation and IT vendors including the MSP
- Participate in regular service reviews and escalate service issues as required.
- Lead the development and implementation of PRONIAs IT strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage the core business systems including cloudbased platforms (e.g. Office 365 SharePoint CRM rostering software).
- Maintain data security privacy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Drive IT projects and digital transformation to improve operations and service delivery in conjunction with CFO/Program Director
- Manage onboarding/offboarding IT requirements for staff (e.g. user accounts devices access).
- Maintain an accurate IT asset register including computers phones and peripherals.
- Develop IT budgets and policies in collaboration with the CFO.
- Lead efforts in risk management incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Work with the MSP to ensure appropriate backups security measures and disaster recovery processes are in place.
- Ensure IT compliance with privacy laws aged care regulations and relevant Australian standards and community expectations
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- Tertiary qualification in IT Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT management or senior IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloudbased platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365) networking and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing external MSPs and vendor contracts.
- Understanding of the notforprofit or aged care sector (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- A proactive customerfocused mindset with strong project management ability.

Additional Requirements:
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to travel between PRONIA sites
