Position Summary:

Gallagher Center of Excellence is seeking to hire a motivated Senior Social Media Team Manager for the GCOE Business Enablement vertical. As the Senior Social Media Team Manager for the GCOE Business Enablement vertical you will be responsible for leading the creation and of social media strategies aimed at increasing followers and engagement across various platforms. You will manage social media content updates ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of social media campaigns and drive content accuracy and consistency. Additionally you will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and customer focus within the marketing team. You will interact with team members located in Rolling Meadows

Chicago and other global locations. Exposure to advanced social media marketing tools and analytics is a definite plus.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Describe the essential responsibilities in order of importance: Begin each responsibility with an action verb.

Importance Major Action and Support Actions

1. Strategy Development: Build and execute a comprehensive social media strategy through competitive research platform determination benchmarking messaging and audience identification to effectively engage target audiences.

2. Content Creation and Management: Generate edit publish and share daily content (including original text images video or HTML) that fosters meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.

3. Platform Optimization: Set up and optimize company pages across various platforms to enhance the visibility and reach of the company’s social content.

4. Content Moderation: Moderate all usergenerated content in accordance with the moderation policy for each community to maintain a positive and engaging environment.

5. Editorial Planning: Create and manage editorial calendars and syndication schedules to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.

6. Data Analysis and Improvement: Continuously improve social media efforts by capturing and analyzing relevant social data/metrics insights and best practices and implementing changes based on this information.

7. CrossDepartment Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to manage the company’s online reputation identify key influencers and coordinate strategic actions.

8. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on emerging social media trends and technologies and integrate them into the strategy to keep the company at the forefront of digital engagement.

9. Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with broader marketing initiatives ensuring cohesive messaging and maximizing impact.

10. Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for social media engagement and content creation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Compensation will fill in with the appropriate degree/education from career level guides. Please list any preferred information):

Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or related fields.

Preferred Degree: Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or related fields.

Certificate(s)/Special Training: Advanced training in social media marketing tools and analytics.

Experience Career Level Guide) Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or related field; advanced degrees or certifications

are a plus. Experience: 7 years of social media experience with LinkedIn YouTube Instagram Twitter and Facebook. Experience

with social media management and project management tools such as Oktopost and Workfront. Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams.

MBA or equivalent in Digital Marketing or a related field preferred and with at least 3 years of demonstrated team management experience

Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing teams.

Platform Knowledge: Proficient in major social media platforms and management tools.

Campaigns: Skilled in planning and optimizing social media campaigns for engagement and brand awareness.

Analytics: Strong analytical skills for interpreting social media metrics.

Content Creation: Ability to create engaging content for diverse platforms.

Crisis Management: Experience in handling social media crises effectively.

Collaboration: Experience working with crossfunctional teams to align social media with business goals.
