We are seeking a LEASE ACCOUNTANT who will be responsible for maintaining all data necessary to document and analyze the financial impact of all company leases. This is an inperson role based out of our Chicago office. Come make your mark as an integral part of Bridge33 Capital!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining all recurring charges square footage tenant options key lease provisions and other critical dates within Yardi.
- Analyze and abstract new leases amendments and other legal documents for a portfolio of properties.
- Identify and escalate problematic lease language and work with Legal to resolve issues.
- Maintain the integrity of the lease data points in Yardi including regular review of reports to ensure the accuracy of lease data.
- Determining and inputting rent common area maintenance and real estate tax amounts for new and existing tenants.
- Calculate and process CPI increase for an assigned set of properties within the portfolio.
- Process the percentage rent billings on a monthly basis while working with AR to resolve open items and tenant disputes.
- Prepare monthly rent roll reports and serve as the point of contact for property management and internal inquiries.
- Responsible for the initial setup and validation of acquired properties within Yardi.
- Responsible for the GLA and occupancy data for multiple properties within the portfolio.
- Maintain real estate database and files to ensure all required documentation including legal documents and related correspondence is property stored and accessible.
- Review and post recurring monthly rents tenant billing adjustments and other reimbursable charges.
- Track lease expiration dates and work with Property Management to make the necessary updates within Yardi.
- Process tenant move ins and move outs and adjust the tenant ledgers as needed.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or general business concentration required
- Minimum 5 years professional accounting/finance experience
- 2 3 years experience in retail commercial real estate required
- Ability to read and understand complex real estate based legal documents
- Strong technology skills including proficiency in Yardi Excel and Microsoft Word with ability to quickly pick up other systems
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Possess skills abilities and traits that align with the companys Key Principles
