Drives and supports crossfunctional business initiatives to achieve objectives; Promotes efficiency initiatives & contributes to effective management of shared operations; Challenges existing practices and develops Innovative solutions.
Ensures that team performance meets quality & timeliness thresholds stipulated by client agreements internal guidelines and regulatory authorities to uphold client expectations.
Implements new claims operations processes (such as facilitating claims fasttracking opportunities between clients insurers and adjustors) by clearly communicating structured and abstract operational standards and mentoring direct reports to achieve team operational goals and maximize process efficiencies.
Utilizes effective management techniques to ensure adherence to internal and client service standards key performance indicators and business objectives.
Evaluates escalated claims issues and provides resolution or defer to others as appropriate to ensure appropriate attention is paid to specialized claims.
Ensures that team adheres to compliance professional standards and business objectives to maintain a quality service to ensure claims management processes adhere to established standards.
Ensures operational controls are carried consistently by direct reports to align with established business policies and procedures; provides training as needed.
Tracks the progress of and documents a portfolio of moderately complex claims and monitors service deliverables to ensure tasks are completed within criteria agreed in client service agreements or internal guidelines.
Conducts performance evaluations facilitates technical and career development training and assists with onboarding new colleagues to develop and grow the team.
