Job Description

A supportive and innovative learning environment

Braemar College is an independent coeducational ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses both of which arelocated near Woodend less than an hour from Melbournes CBD. You will work in one of the most unique educational settings and teach committed and passionate students.

Position:

Braemar is seeking an enthusiastic teacher for our Woodend campus. The successful applicant should be passionate about Middle Years education. The position is teaching Mathematics and Science in the upper primary and middle school levels. We continue to embed a culture of personalised learning with an integrated approach to achieve high standards of learning for all students.

This position is part time with a teaching load of approximately .60.

The position is due to long service leave.

Able to commence Term 3 from 21 July 2025.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain high standards of learning and teaching assessment and reporting.
  • Use data to inform differentiated practice.
  • Plan collaboratively with teaching teams.
  • Contribute to Professional Learning Teams.
  • Have excellent knowledge of contemporary approaches to literacy.
  • Be able to teach across Middle School and in particular Mathematics and Science.
