Description
Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)
End User Hosting team is responsible for the design implementation and support of the Virtual Workplace infrastructure. This includes application delivery on Citrix Terminal server and virtual workstations on Prem & cloud and keeping the underlying infrastructure for those platforms up to date.
The team delivers thirdline support to endusers and the support teams across all entities.
Please note that this is a permanent position and we do not offer freelance/contract arrangement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design complex solution for virtual workplace environments using Citrix Citrix DAAS AVD Win365
- Build standard operating procedures for 2nd line and 1st line support teams
- Maintain and supervise the infrastructure components
- Incident request and problem management (3rd line support)
- Provide application support for our internal client base
- Deploy applications debug and tackle related problems XenDesktop and AVD using SCCM and Intune
- Manage patching for applications and operating systems on these platforms
- Identify areas for improvement
- Assist in team projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting a Windows based virtual workplace environment including application delivery
- Proven design administrator and 3rd level support experience in a XenDesktop and AVD/Win365 environment
- In depth knowledge of Azure
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- SCCM and Intune experience including baseline management and custom reporting
- Operational knowledge of Liquidware FlexApp MSI and other packaging/scripting technologies
- Experienced with Microsoft 365 Suite
- Good knowledge of IT Security Principals and IT Service Management
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to do indepth troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Sufficient knowledge of the common office applications to be able to deliver application support to endusers
- Driven by desire for simplification and automation
- Customer focused approach with superb communication skills both written and verbally
- Proactive and transparent communication
- Strong belief that being part of a team is a strength
- Fluent in French/English or Dutch/English or Polish/English
