ADGA is currently looking for a Systems Architect to provide the services of SME to support the implementation of the Airspace Coordination Centre Modernization (ASCCM) Digitally Aided Close Air Support and other projects.
You will be responsible for the development the integration the validation and the verification of all hardware and software components within the scope of all projects.
Tasks will include but not limited to:
- SoS level architecture for LC4ISR systems. (Land Command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance)
- System requirements gathering for complex systems.
- System level architecture for C2 (Command and Control) communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment.
- System level architecture for C2 communication and information system within a Client/Server environment.
- ISTAR System level architecture for military C4ISR systems; and/or Data architecture definition and implementation.
- Identifying analyzing and resolving complex communication and information system on all associated WLS (Weapon Location Systems) platforms and related projects.
- Analyzing designing and/or implementing solutions for communication and information systems on all associated WLS platforms and related projects.
- Developing and documenting SM solutions (tools and processes) for C2 communication and information systems in WLS platforms or within a client/server associated environment
- Developing designing and maintaining test beds and test procedures; and
- System integration verification and validation for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing WLS platforms and related projects.
Qualifications :
- Proof of STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) bachelors degree in network software computer systems electrical or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR. (copy will be required)
- Preference will be given to candidates that already hold an existing Secret level clearance with PSPC/PWGSC. (contract requirement)
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Systems Architect for Military Command and Control and Info Systems or ISTAR systems.
- Must have 10 years experience in at least 1 of the following criteria:
- Analyzing designing and/or implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas:
- Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment.
- Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment.
- Military ISTAR systems.
- Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and
- System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience in system integration verification and validation for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing systems in one of the following areas:
- Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment.
- Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment.
- Military ISTAR systems.
- Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and
- System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience as a systems engineer in communication and information systems (Hardware Software and Network) or Specialty engineering (Security Modeling Simulation ISTAR).
- Ability to demonstrate at least 8 years of demonstrated experience within the last 10 years in the preparation of technical concept documents system specifications and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering (i.e. System software computer communication security or simulation) experience.
- Ability to demonstrate at least 8 years of demonstrated experience:
- Communicating IT frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
- Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
- Providing advice guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision making of senior management.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems frameworks or strategies.
- Performing strategic operational or tactical planning to projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.

- Must be available to work onsite full time in Gatineau.
- If a Consultant must already be registered with Controlled Goods for this contract.
