Job Description
Shift: FullTime Day Shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver will be expected to transport deliver and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a box truck. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to topnotch customer service.
- Perform pre & posttrip inspections thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
- Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
- Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
- Load and unload truck
- Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
- Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
- Occasional Weekend work
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Valid Drivers License
- 2 years of previous truck driver.
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work effectively with people in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to work in degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable
- Attention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing work
- Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
