Title: Substance Abuse Specialist (Cooccurring Specialist)

Job Duties: Assumes responsibility and is accountable for implementing documenting and evaluating the Dual Recovery Program. Assesses person served dual recovery needs and completes required written evaluations of assigned persons. Identifies personserved needs and goals and provides individual and group activities designed to meet specific dual recovery needs and goals.

Schedule: FullTime

Qualifications:

  • A substance abuse certification working towards it.
  • Must have a minimum of two 2 years of fulltime or equivalent experience working with clients who experience mental health challenges. A bachelors degree in a related field may be substituted for the two years of work experience.
  • Including a minimum of one year of work experience providing direct dual recovery (or substance abuse) related services in a mental health setting. Approved Cooccurring certification preferred.

About the Campus:Crestwoods Psychiatric Health Facilities (PHFs) are dedicated to restoring a sense of hope selfempowerment and realized potential of recovery in each of our clients. PHFs are for clients who require stabilization medication management behavioral interventions psychotherapy psychosocial education and a transition plan to enable a successful return to their community. Crestwoods Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidates skills experience licensure and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$22.50 $25 USD
