Position Summary

  • Contributes to business objectives by leading and establishing new initiatives for the business operations and strategic planning functions within the organization.

  • Determines strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with senior management managing endtoend accountability from initial vision through to comprehensive planning and followup.

  • Develops methodology for change management strategies and plans to ensure a smooth implementation of strategic initiatives and work area objectives.

  • Develops a team to perform objective datadriven analysis to understand key drivers of business performance and identify gaps or opportunities to accelerate growth.

  • Develops relationships with leaders within the system in order to obtain information and content from providers and colleagues to foster successful project completion.

  • Communicates with top management about continuous improvement opportunities and establishing and maintaining best practices.

  • Works strategically across the organization to ensure business partners and stakeholders have full knowledge of process excellence and digital excellence in order to deliver effective functional support.

  • Communicates strategically regarding insights on market dynamics competitor strategies and industry disruptions to guide strategic decisionmaking in the healthcare sector.

  • Advises on organization standards sets performance goals and evaluates individual and team performance to ensure the achievement of Business Operations and Strategy objectives.

Prior Relevant Work Experience

10 years

Essential Qualifications

Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills

Mastery of collaboration and teamwork

Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Mastery of and delivery (planning delivering and supporting) skills

Certified Strategic Planning Professional (CSPP) preferred.

Strategic Management Professional (SMP) preferred.

Education

Bachelors degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100000.00 $231540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program.
