Meet with students to conduct intake develop plans based on their unique circumstances and needs and monitor progress
Facilitate student access and use of campus and community resources
Manage caseload in a manner that promotes retention persistence and student success through proactive interactions and interventions.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1973 identify secure and coordinate and advocate for appropriate and reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities.
Maintain and monitor case notes in electronic student record systems
Provide necessary support and materials for faculty staff and other service providers to assist in the identification and development of methods to assist students
Maintain good working relationships with community agencies
Demonstrate strong commitment to student development and success through advocacy positive attitude adaptability approachability problem solving and support
Engage in behaviors that create an environment in which all people are valued supported and respected
Serve on Campus Aware team to support the campus community when student concerns arise.

Bachelors degree in Social Work Higher Education or a related field required.
One to two years of work experience in a related field
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong administrative and computer skills
Ability to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations
Contribute to a team environment
Ability to partner well with colleagues both in and outside of the organization.
Engage in behaviors that create an environment in which all people are valued supported and respected
Masters degree in Social Work Higher Education or related field preferred.
Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience demonstrating leadership qualities is preferred.
Experience working in an educational setting.
This position will primarily work MondayFriday 8 am 5 pm with an occasional evening or weekend.
This position pays an annual salary of $52000.
