About the Opportunity:
We are inviting applications fromsuitably qualifiedRegistered Nurses wishing to obtain permanent employment within the facility in the role of AfterHours Nurse Manager. This position will require successful candidates to ensure provision of highquality patient care through efficient and effective management of staffing resource and bed management. The role requires provision of effective leadership strategies and coordination of patient flow whilst upholding the mission of St Vincents Health Australia in an afterhours capacity

Things that work for us:
Registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
Applicants with a minimum of five 5 years experience is desirable
Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
Ability to motivate provide leadership and coordination to members of the team
Problem solving analytical and conflict resolution skill and demonstrated ability to lead and implement change in a complex environment
Ability to ensure clinical practice is consistent with the standards of ACHS Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and ANMC guidelines
Ability to effectively coordinate the functioning of the service and provide clinical leadership across the continuum of care
Ability to effectively manage clinical and nonclinical risk infection control and emergency situations in the afterhours environment
