Lead Manufacturing Engineer
Co. Armagh
Salary up to 60000
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a global industry leading manufacturing company. Reporting to the Head of Operations you will lead process improvement projects across the site.

The Role
- Design new systems equipment and processes for the introduction of new products or the improvement of existing ones.
- Work closely with multiple departments and help deliver CI projects on time and in budget.
- Analysing and reporting on production processes methods schedules downtime cycle times availability of machines and waste management.
- Support the transition of new tools to production by designing and implementing jigs tooling frameworks etc.
- Liaise will toolmakers with regards to new tools/ improvements to tooling.
- Reviewing and calculating the costs of the different tools and equipment in the production process and predicting the overheads in future production requirements
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow space requirements and equipment layout.
- Evaluating quality control processes and making recommendations for quality improvements
The Person
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 5 years experience in a similar role within manufacturing engineering or projects
- Experience using SolidWorks or AutoCad
- Experience of NPI
