Job Description
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our longterm clients team at 1 of their properties in St. Paul and Eagan MN. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in hands on maintenance and general mechanical and maintenance knowledge. CPO and Boilers experience is highly preferred. This role is a direct hire role.
This role will be working with 2 buildings in West St. Paul 55118 and Eagan 55123.
Schedule: MondayFriday standard daytime hours oncall rotation is every 6 weeks. This role is a direct hire role.
Salary: $26$29/hour DOQ.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the property.
- Work with the maintenance team and management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner.
- Perform tasks associated with electrical plumbing and carpentry.
- Repair and treat structures such as showers sinks appliances doors cabinets walls and building exteriors.
- Pool maintenance and testing may be applicable.
- Make units ready for new moveins.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in residential/multifamily maintenance.
- Willingness to advance within the field (continuing education and certification opportunities available)
- Basic understanding of electrical plumbing and carpentry.
- CPO and Boilers experience is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate with residents coworkers and management
- Regular ontime attendance.
- Valid and Current Drivers License and Proof of insurance
- Be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
