He enjoys the outdoors jumping on the trampoline riding his balance bike playing with switches and wheels and is particularly strong with numbers.
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide handson support for his specific developmental needs through a nurturing consistent and neuroaffirming approach. A strong interest in neurodiversity and a commitment to being a secure longterm source of support are essential.
Requirements
- Become an active member of a multidisciplinary team using the S.P.E.L.L framework.
- Collaborate with his occupational and speech therapists to meet developmental goals.
- Offer companionship and emotional support at home.
- Support selfregulation and reduce anxiety through a lowarousal approach.
- Fetch him from nursery school and accompany the family to therapy sessions.
- Engage in developmental and fun sensory play meal preparation feeding and nappy changes.
- Assist with routines using visual aids and support his executive functioning and sensory profile.
- Prepare meals that are appropriate for his sensory needs.

Training & Support
The successful candidate will receive training from the NDC Facilitation Academy and personalised support from a registered counsellor for 4 6 weeks. Ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team at The Neurodiversity Centre will be provided.
