The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for a Production Manager to join the Operations team based in Novar Gardens SA. BlueScope Building Components a division of BlueScope in Australia manufactures and markets steel building products solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght Fielders Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
In this exciting and brandnew role you will collaborate with the operations team and drive continuous improvement of the production of our products and operational systems. This opportunity is a key frontline leadership position that supports the supervisors operations coordinators and the overall site ensuring the success of planned delivery schedules are ontime meeting our customer expectations.
What Will You Do
In this leadership position you will:
- provide support to the scheduling team and manage conflicting priorities and customer orders ensuring ontime delivery
- optimise the efficiency effectiveness and cost associated with the daily operations
- work collaboratively with production and operations teams and be solution focused
- be innovative agile and have a proactive approach to drive business innovation
