Life Science Outsourcing Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions. Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market from sourcing to drop shipping.
We are currently seeking a self-motivatedProduction Assemblerswith positive engagement and collaborative energy to join our team and support the continued growth of LSO. TheProduction Assemblerperforms various repetitive tasks in a production area while being responsible for the quality of work performed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Complete assigned task by following written procedures and verbal instructions. Task assignments may be changed often. Tasks include assembly of medical devices inspection at various steps in the assembly process labeling and packaging. Some assembly operations may require the use of simple testing or inspection equipment during the process.
Must be able to meet established labor standards for the operations or processes being worked on. Must be versatile and be able to handle a variety of hand tools.
Able to read and write English at a 7th grade level in order to understand and follow written manufacturing and inspection procedures.
Perform daily/weekly cleaning tasks in the controlled manufacturing environment and/or the facility in general.
May be asked to cross-train in other areas such as QC inspection or Material Control.
An ability to work closely with all levels of peers and Supervisory/Management staff is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS -To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
Good manual dexterity.
Previous experience in medical device manufacturing/assembly operations is desirable.
High School diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. intermittently. Must have ability to walk up and down stairs and walk extended distances as needed.
