As the Project Lead Group CFO Office you will report to the Chief of Staff to the Group CFO. You will be part of the Group CFO Office that provides strategic support to the Roche Group CFO and will lead and contribute to analyses fact bases and presentations for the CFO. You will benefit from a broad exposure across various areas of Roche Finance and help to drive highly visible topics.

Impact:

By doing this you will support strategic decisionmaking and have an influence on the companys overall strategic financial and operational performance. You will also support driving the functional priorities and support positioning the CFO to various internal and external stakeholders. Career opportunities and accountabilities within this position include (but are not limited to):

  • You will lead and support the preparation of concise presentations for internal and external communication including senior management presentations such as for FLT (Finance Leadership Team) CEC (Corporate Executive Committee) Board of Directors key customers functional townhalls and synthesize insights into briefing documents to support decisionmaking on senior executive level

  • You will support the preparation and of key senior leadership meetings and events

  • You will support the annual strategic planning cycle on functional level to ensure strategic priorities are defined translated into meaningful objectives and monitored/tracked

  • You will interact with senior stakeholders across different units and functions to collect input and to obtain buyin thereby building a strong network across Finance

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone with high integrity and a successful track record of working in a strategic role with senior stakeholders. You have a PhD or Masters degree in business (Finance preferred) or science and bring 58 years of experience in relevant roles in consulting inhouse strategy roles and/or business leadership relevant to Healthcare / Pharmaceutical / Finance.

An indepth understanding of the healthcare sector is mandatory. This includes healthcare systems and trends market & competitor landscape new customer groups including provider and patients and associated business models. Moreover previous experience in Finance is preferred since this role expects a deep understanding of core Finance processes operating model setup and strategy.

In addition to be successful in this impactful role you bring the following experience and competencies:

  • Selfdriven and ability to work with limited supervision; delivering information in high quality and on time

  • Excellent skills in developing succinct factbased and clear presentations with clear storylines tailored to various audiences

  • Attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile

  • Strong stakeholder management and people influencing skills promoting a culture of trust with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic fastpaced and demanding environment that requires at times high degrees of flexibility and managing multiple priorities at the same time

  • This role is based in Basel Switzerland.
