Job Description

As an FEE II in GTMC SIERRA (Science Insights Experience Research Reporting & Analytics) youll work on cross functional projects spanning Applied Science Front End and Backend engineering disciplines. You will build user experiences that deliver insights to Amazonians to help them complete Talent Management processes more efficiently and equitably. You will build resuable front end components that accelerate our organization by driving a culture of reuse and reducing the amount of code we write and maintain. Youll be hands on while also leading other individual contributors to define and deliver on a roadmap that works backwards from our three year and operational plans. Youll be responsible for delivering and maintaining high quality operationally sound software with strong controls around data security and privacy.

Global Talent Management & Compensation (GTMC) SIERRA (Science Insights Experience Research Reporting & Analytics) is a horizontal multidisciplinary organization whose mission is to be a force multiplier for the broader GTMC organization and our key customer cohorts. We accomplish this by using our expertise in data analytics and science economics machine learning (ML) UX I/O psychology and engineering to build insights and experiences that raise the bar in understanding and shaping decision making at scale by integrating within and across talent journeys as well as through selfservice tools and closed loop mechanisms outside of those journeys. Our portfolio of products spans foundational data sources metrics and research through to finished features and products that our endcustomers interact with on a daily basis.

2 years of noninternship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
1 years of computer science fundamentals (objectoriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

1 years of agile software development methodology experience
Experience with common frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JS TypeScript and Node

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
