We are seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented Business Analyst III (Business Intelligence) to join the Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing team. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for understanding documenting and communicating requirements to bridge business objectives and technical solutions effectively.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders product owners and technical teams to analyze design and implement solutions that drive datadriven decisionmaking. This role requires strong analytical skills experience with database systems and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis and solution design for business problems related to data and business intelligence.
- Collaborate with product owners business stakeholders and technical leads to prioritize and plan work.
- Gather and document business and system requirements ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Conduct impact assessments on IT systems and integration dependencies.
- Assist with system testing including creating test cases and facilitating business user testing.
- Drive project implementation and coordination across teams.
- Facilitate and run requirementgrooming sessions with technical and business teams.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members fostering knowledgesharing and continuous improvement.
- Participate in monthly weekend releases verifying system functionality postdeployment.
- Assist in production support and troubleshooting issues related to business intelligence systems.
- Identify and escalate technical or process inefficiencies contributing to improvements in the BI function.
- Collaborate with other IT analysts to ensure consistent and reusable solutions.
MustHave Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in business analysis particularly in data warehousing and/or data storage environments.
- Strong understanding of SQL database design and data mining techniques.
- Experience with UML or other diagramming techniques (e.g. Data/Sequence/Process/Context diagrams).
- Solid grasp of APIs and web services integration.
- Handson experience with Agile methodologies especially Scrum.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to handle complex IT systems and dependencies.
- Selfmotivated accountable and able to manage tasks independently.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior analysts.
NicetoHave Requirements:
- Prior experience in investment or financial services industries.
- Exposure to cloudbased data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and BI reporting frameworks.
- Experience with automated testing and data validation processes.
- Certification in Business Analysis or related technical field.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Business Analysis or related fields.
- Strong academic performance.
