Dallas Mechanical Group (DMG) is a fullservice provider of commercial HVAC construction service and maintenance solutions. DMG is a subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc. and is one of the largest bestrespected HVAC contractors in Texas.

DMG is experienced in the installation and service of all types of commercial HVAC systems offering complete mechanical capabilities. We are one of the few contractors in the industry that offers complete inhouse engineering and design capabilities in all three MEP disciplines. Inhouse engineering helps provide us with tighter control over project quality budgets and schedules.

On thousands of projects in a range of industries we have had the privilege of working with some of the states leading contractors developers universities governmental and military entities and medical facilities. Our team has completed projects all across Texas including Dallas/Fort Worth Austin Houston San Antonio and more.

Job Title: Bid Coordinator

Job Summary:

  • Receives downloads and manages Owner bid forms documents plans and specifications.
  • Reading/Reviewing/Interpreting Mechanical Construction Plans to determine qualifying projects that will need to be distributed to Project Managers.
  • Reviews logs and acts upon incoming and outgoing documents associated with bids and proposals.
  • Manages all documentation associated with the preparation of estimates bids and proposals including amendments RFI s etc.
  • Maintaining bid calendar noting bid dates prebid meetings job walks and other relevant dates.
  • Performs administrative functions such as filing data entry record retention and updating the bid schedule.
  • Direct point of contact to provide information in response to inquiries about requests for quotes and bids.
  • Processes applications for Commercial building permits; reviews and enters applications into the database.
  • Registers the company with the cities we are currently working with.
  • Requests & follows up on commercial inspections being needed for job sites.
  • Logs maintains and updates permit records on the computerized database

Qualifications

  • Excellent timemanagement skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and possess flexibility to respond and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fastpaced highvolume environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Computer literate with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Outlook Word Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Understanding of excellent customer service.
  • Work well in a team environment towards accomplishing a shared goal.
  • Bid Management and industry experience are a plus.
