Bright Smiles Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistantin Marble Falls Texas to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a teambased environment.
Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and posttreatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop Xrays assist with impressions and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification emergency drug and oxygen supply and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
- Completion of Registered Dental Assistant Required
- 1 year onthejobexperience (with supporting documentation)
- XRay certification
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA HIPAA CPR and infection control training as required by law.
