You will tackle architectural challenges in processing and presenting complex billing data for diverse customer needs. You will be empowered to innovate on behalf of customers make critical decisions and develop elegant solutions for complicated billing scenarios. Youll work with advanced AWS technologies including Kinesis DynamoDB S3 Lambda and others. Your work will directly impact millions of AWS customers helping them understand and optimize their cloud spending through intuitive billing interfaces and cost management tools.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3 and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2 to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:

Help to define the system architecture own and implement specific components and help shape the overall experience.
Collaborate closely with product managers and other software developers to help define the scope of the product.
You will take responsibility for technical problem solving creatively meeting product goals and developing best practices.

Write highquality efficient testable code in and other objectoriented languages.
Build highly available secure and eventdriven systems.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
