Job Summary
Under the newly minted division of University Marketing & Communications Marketing Communications creates proactive innovative and comprehensive marketing communications and branding strategies that highlight Drexels academic strengths and research while emphasizing the value and potential of the experiential education model. Marketing Communications works closely with colleges schools academic and administrative staff throughout the University to create comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that serve the Universitys overarching branding recruitment and retention goals to meet or exceed the enrollment and revenue objectives. Marketing Communications defines protects and disseminates the Drexel University brand while clearly illustrating its unique value proposition.
The Director of Web Strategy is a key leadership role within Marketing Communications responsible for driving the Universitys websitefocused digital strategy managing centralized web governance and ensuring the successful implementation of projects supporting the Universitys web community. This role will place a significant emphasis User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee highquality accessible and usercentered web experiences that align with institutional priorities.
Working as a strategic bridge between Marketing University Web personnel and Drexel IT the Director will oversee the testing and validation of web components CMS processes and digital content to ensure performance functionality and compliance with digital accessibility standards.
This is a hybrid role working primarily inperson.

This position is classified as Exempt grade M. Compensation for this grade ranges from$75200 $112790 per year. Please note that the offered rate for thisposition typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade but it can vary based on thesuccessful candidates qualifications and experience department budget and an internal equity review.
