Job Description

The role focuses on driving sales growth identifying new business opportunities and supporting the development and of strategic initiatives. This role involves a mix of sales business development market analysis and relationship management. The role is targeted towards junior business and sales candidates aspiring to work in a a rapid and exciting tech startups or to wards engineers willing to enter the business field. If successfully extended the role may grow in future to a managerial position.

Tasks

Sales and Lead Generation:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and clients in the tech industry.
  • Reach out to potential clients via cold calling emails networking and social media to generate interest.
  • Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Conduct presentations and demos of the companys products or services to potential clients.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing product customer success) to understand customer needs and align business development strategies.
  • Assist in building partnerships and strategic alliances with other businesses and organizations.
  • Research and identify emerging market trends competitors and customer pain points.
  • Work closely with senior managers to develop new business strategies and optimize sales processes.
  • Attend industry conferences events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed on industry trends.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clients providing them with tailored solutions and advice.
  • Follow up on client feedback to ensure satisfaction and develop strategies to address any concerns or issues.
  • Work with the customer success team to ensure successful onboarding implementation and support for new clients.

Sales Support and Administration:

  • Assist in preparing proposals quotes and contracts for potential clients.
  • Maintain uptodate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Track sales performance prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and stay competitive.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and promotional campaigns that attract leads.
  • Work closely with senior business development managers to strategize and refine business development approaches.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights to senior management to support decisionmaking. Assist in preparing presentations business cases and other materials for meetings with clients or stakeholders.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • A Masters degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology Finance or Engineering degree in a technology field a related field is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in sales business development or technologyrelated fields (e.g. Space ICT Space CRM tools) can be a plus.

Experience:

  • 13 years of experience in sales business development or a customerfacing role preferably in the tech industry.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and sales process management.
  • Some experience in managing a sales pipeline prospecting leads and closing deals in tech field
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle and business development strategies.

Experience in satellite technology or electronics or AI or telecommunication business is a plus!

  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to engage clients generate leads and close sales.
  • Business Development Acumen: Understanding of how to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively to clients and internal teams.
  • TechSavvy: Comfortable with using various tools such as CRM systems Microsoft Office Suite and sales analytics tools.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Ability to negotiate deals handle objections and close sales effectively.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market data trends and competitors to develop and refine business strategies.
  • Time Management & Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working in the space telecom electronics or AI technology/ industry.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and its integration with sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo or similar lead generation of specific tech products or services (e.g. telecom devices and services space tech products AI software solutions).
  • Eligible to work in Luxembourg
  • Professional English language
