Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

Skilled Project Manager with CA (SA) qualification or equivalent project finance qualification
Project management experience 7 years
Audit experience
SETA experience (advantageous)

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

a) Review the Project Department s methodology for identifying slowmoving and nonperforming contracts to assess adequacy for intended purpose.

b) Review state of contracts identified by Management as nonperforming expired or slowmoving including:

Desktop evaluation and creating template for stakeholders
Interviewing responsible project manager from the public entity.
Inspecting supporting documents for contract stage in reporting payments and training
Conducting project visits for highrisk projects

c) Compile a report on findings for selected projects to the Executive.

d) Provide recommendations and improvements for effective and efficient project monitoring.
