Job Description
AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full & PartTime Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Manhattan ICF residence.
DATE & TIME: TUESDAY May 6th from 10AM1PM
LOCATION: Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates.
POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
40HR Evening shift: license Required
30 & 40HR Overnight shifts: license NOT Required
PAY RATE: $18.54 $18.90 per hour depending on position and driving status. Plus a very comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.
Weekend availability needed for all positions listed!

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development interests and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking cleaning hygiene etc.
Qualifications :
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support peoples preferences for community activities work leisure activities the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED highly preferred.
