We are seeking a talented and solutionsoriented Reality Capture BIM Engineer Coop to contribute to delivering transformational innovation to the business. As a reality capture BIM Engineer Coop you will work closely with field engineers and crossfunctional teams to improve the quality and productivity of automation deployment for Amazons fulfillment network.

This role is 6 month coop ranging from July/AugustDecember 2025.


Key job responsibilities
This role includes the following responsibilities:

* Process 3D LiDAR scanning data
* Perform 3D modeling of physical facilities and equipment
* Analyze multilayer engineering models for clash detection
* Maintain database of asbuilts and 3D models
* Work with field engineers to develop standard operating procedures for use cases of reality capture for automation deployment
* Work with crossfunctional deployment teams to deliver timely feedback on installation errors and clashes

* Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in an Engineering discipline: Mechanical Industrial Architecture or equivalent
* Currently enrolled in college/university and must have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the coop.
* Must be eligible and available for a fulltime 40h / week) coop from July/AugustDecember 2025.
* Competence in using Autodesk (Civil3D Revit ReCap Navisworks and BIM360preferred) or equivalent for complex models
* Experience working in 3D environments and familiarity with asbuilt conditions
* Experience processing point cloud data
* Industrial experience working with cross functional teams and field operations


* Experience programming in common computer languages including data processing user interfaces and statistical data analysis
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to travel up to 50

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $32.31/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $72.26/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
