As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Tech Controls team your role is pivotal in creating topnotch cybersecurity solutions for a range of software applications utilizing cuttingedge cloud technologies. Your primary responsibilities include devising crucial cybersecurity architecture solutions identifying and communicating risks proposing mitigation strategies and providing solutions across diverse technical areas within various business functions to support project objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss/propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needs.
- Defines the technical target state of their cybersecurity product and drives achievement of the strategy.
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors startups and internal teams to drive outcomesoriented probing of cybersecurity designs technical credentials and applicability for use within existing systems and cybersecurity architecture
- Leads communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leadingedge cybersecurity technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Cybersecurity concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Experience in the areas of software engineering security architecture cybersecurity risk management.
- Handson practical experience delivering enterpriselevel cybersecurity solutions and controls advisory
- Proficiency in Security architecture skills including Threat modelling secure design review control design and evaluation third party product security assessments.
- Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration and delivery application resiliency and security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. public cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiar financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best security design/solutions for the future state architecture
- Effectively communicating with senior business leaders
