Job Description
The UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC) or Cancer Center combines basic science clinical research epidemiology/cancer control and patient care from throughout the University of California San Francisco system.
The Lab Assistant is a limited part time 40 position. The majority of the effort will be providing glass washing and autoclaving services for wet lab researchers at the UCSF Mt. Zion Cancer Research Bld. and the Mission Bay location. About 10 of the time this position will provide to other shared support services such as booking conference rooms distributing mail stocking break rooms preparing purchase requisitions and submitting work order requests online. Limited other duties as assigned.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $19.43 $22.49 (Hourly Rate).
