Job Description

JOB SUMMARYDirects Womens Services activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational FUNCTIONSDevelops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated and directs internal/external and fosters an environment that encourages professional evidencebased practices into operations and clinical as resource for staff regarding obstetrical concerns and/or neonate EducationAssociate s Degree RequiredBachelors Degree Preferred Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate Life Support (BLS)Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)AWHONLicenses:Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of Kentucky.
