Job Description

Print Production Clerk

Our client a leader in the printing industry is seeking a dedicated professional to support their operations in Richmond and Vancouver BC. This role involves performing black & white reprographics mainframe printing services and serving as a backup delivery driver. The environment is casual and the successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative qualityfocused workplace.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $20.
12month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Onsite work in a dynamic environment.
Dress Code: Flexible (jeans are acceptable).

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Work with the Lead Print Operator to review production schedules and determine output requirements.
Perform document setup and manipulation as required.
Review and approve proofs to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment to maximize uptime.
Monitor and manage supplies inventory.
Act as a backup for processing Loomis deliveries and for the regular delivery driver.
Deliver print jobs as needed in the Richmond and Vancouver BC area using a clientprovided vehicle.
Other related duties as required.

What you will need to succeed:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Postsecondary technology training or related experience (preferred).
6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
Valid driver s license with a clean driver s abstract.
Driving Requirement: Less than 25 of the time using a companyprovided vehicle.
Able to operate large centralized digital printing equipment.
Experience with B&W production equipment and Freeflow systems.
Proficiency in operating PC applications within a networked environment.
Ability to detect and address production inconsistencies and quality issues.
Ability to read write and follow English instructions.
Strong listening comprehension and communication skills in English.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting.
