Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. In this role you will lead the design and implementation of complex HVAC systems for largescale commercial and industrial projects ensuring optimal performance energy efficiency and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Develop comprehensive HVAC system designs for commercial and industrial buildings considering local climate conditions and energy efficiency requirements
- Perform complex calculations and analysis to determine heating and cooling loads equipment sizing and system specifications
- Create detailed technical drawings specifications and design documents using advanced HVAC design software
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including architects structural engineers and electrical engineers to ensure integrated building systems
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously adhering to deadlines and budget constraints
- Conduct site visits to assess existing systems troubleshoot issues and oversee installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems
- Stay uptodate with the latest HVAC technologies industry standards and local building codes in Saudi Arabia
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the design team
- Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and address technical inquiries
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 710 years of experience in HVAC design engineering with a focus on largescale commercial and industrial projects
- Chartered Engineer (cEng preferred; LEED AP certification is a plus
- Proficiency in HVAC design software including AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Indepth knowledge of HVAC systems energy efficiency principles and sustainable design practices
- Strong understanding of building codes ASHRAE standards and local regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proven project management abilities including the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with energy modeling and lifecycle cost analysis
- Familiarity with local climate conditions in Riyadh and their impact on HVAC design
- Willingness to work in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and adapt to the local work environment
