Introduction
We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Midrand Gauteng.
Role: Senior Civil Design Engineer Water Infrastructure & Design
Industry: Mining & Water Infrastructure Consulting
Level: Senior
Key Requirements:
- BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 810 years relevant experience
- Professional registration (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech) highly advantageous
- Proven experience in design and construction monitoring of:
Pipelines and ancillaries
Pump stations
Storm water and open channel flow systems
Earthworks and platform design using Civil 3D
- Hydraulic modelling using KYPipe EPANET PC SWMM HECRAS or Bentley software
- Civil 3D and AutoCAD proficiency
- Ability to prepare cost estimates reports tender documentation and asbuilt drawings
- Strong understanding of contract and construction procedures
- Project and engineering management experience beneficial
- Willingness and flexibility to travel locally and across Africa
- Own vehicle valid drivers license and passport essential
