Role Overview
The Sr. Manager Sports Marketing will lead projects to support the planning and of marketing various highprofile NBC Sports properties including playing a key role on the NBA on NBC and Peacock marketing team. This position will be responsible for helping to the goal of driving awareness subscriber acquisition and viewership of sports properties across streaming linear and digital platforms. This role will report to the Director Consumer Engagement.
Responsibilities
- With increasing independence create multiple plans and then lead the of marketing campaigns for NBC Sports properties across streaming and linear
- Develop workflow leading into campaign launches run meetings and oversee tracking of progress on all asset deliverables and recapping of campaigns
- Responsible for daytoday management of process and timelines for assigned properties
- Proactively collaborate crossfunctionally with various NBCUniversal and NBC Sports business units including production programming social sales digital & marketing internal teams and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on Consumer Engagement plans and initiatives
- Using the strategy for the property and overall Marketing teams goals as a guide proactively new ideas and thoughts to the plan and of CE and larger cross company efforts.
- Manage direct report and invest in developing team members to support NBC Sports while starting to delegate and supervise tasks
- Oversee creation of reports and presentations around marketing efforts for property initiatives by using information from all relevant engagement sources
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs and strategies
- Supervise RFP with agencies and ultimately oversee all aspects of of the plan
- Communicate on a regular basis with appropriate level staff members at external partners
- Communicate on a regular basis with appropriate team members and leaders
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media Business or a related field
- Minimum of six 6 years of professional experience ideally at an advertising marketing branded content or media agency
- Experience in the NBA and in the streaming space is a plus
