DCHSis looking for 3 skilled knowledgeable highlymotivated and enthusiastic team players to work with our Housing Capital Team and our Business Liaison Finance Team which includes portfolios with complex funding sources including federal state and local resources. The roles are Business and Finance Officer IIIs (BFO III).
The Business Liaison Team is looking for two finance analysts (BFO IIIs) to support its Business Liaison Team. Business Liaison (BFO III) positions report to the Budget Monitoring and Reporting Manager (BFO IV). Their primary purpose is to act as intermediaries between the fiscal team and other business units ensuring smooth communication and resolution of financial issues. Key tasks includebudget development grants management support accurate billing and payment processes support the Project Organization Expenditure Type and Activity (POETA) coding to ensure correct allocation of costs and resources and conducting financial research to support business decisions and financial planning.
TheHousing Capital Finance Team is looking forone finance analyst (Business and Finance Officer III) to support the Housing and Community Development (HCD) Division. The BFO III serves as the lead fiscal analyst for the Divisions Housing Capital Teamand supports management of the finances for all bondfunded housing programs run by King County including Health Through Housing (HTH) and TransitOriented Development (TOD). The position maintains fixed asset and controllable item tracking and coordinates with providers and County staff.

WORK SCHEDULE: The positions are exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday Friday 8am5pm. The positions are represented by PROTEC17.
MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:The positions are designated NonMission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive department director or agency head all employees regardless of designation are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:The work associated with the positions will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking and onsite work and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
