The Opportunity
WSDOT Budget and Financial Analysis Division in is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Specialist 5 to independently serve as a consulting expert regarding financial planning of statewide toll facilities. In this role you will direct and conduct transportation economic and statistical research and analysis of complex data including sources and uses of funds in all agency programs serve as an agency contact on bond compliance issues and make recommendations for transportation longrange plans megaproject financial plans and other financial issues. TheFinancial Planning Analystwill work collaboratively with other staff in the unit agency program experts consultants executives Office of Financial Management (OFM) and legislative staff. Our top candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a high level of professionalism as this position will communicate complex technical information to technical and nontechnical audiences internal and external to the agency.
