Job Summary
Join Mass Eye and Ears Anesthesia Department comprised of 6 fulltime Anesthesia Techs 30 Anesthesiologists 30 CRNAs and 10 Nurse Practitioners. This collaborative team is a wonderful place to work and learn.Qualifications
Anesthesia Technician Coop Responsibilities
Performs routine duties to assist the professional nursing and medical staff. Assists Anesthesiologists by settingup equipment and preparing medications. Orders stocks tests and maintains anesthesia supplies medications and equipment. Washes and sterilizes reusable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
Role Functions
- Transports and distributes anesthetic equipment in surgical suites.
- Troubleshoots equipment during operative procedures and makes appropriate replacements when necessary.
- Prepares equipment and assists with invasive monitoring procedures.
- Cleans and maintains anesthesia equipment machines and carts.
- Cleans maintains and orders anesthesia supplies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
