Through a successful bid to the governments Change Programme Partnership an opportunity has arisen for two dynamic and committed Education Effectiveness Partners to join the team in a continued development strategy working with schools on joint strategies for inclusion use of alternative provision and promoting positive outcomes for Leicestershires most vulnerable children and young people.
We are seeking a dynamic and committed Education Effectiveness Partner to join our Education Effectiveness Service area within Children and Family Services. This role involves being the point of contact for all schools academies colleges and educational settings in a geographical area of Leicestershire fostering good working relationships to ensure the best possible education for children and young people.
Knowledge and an understanding of the current agendas within education particularly regarding inclusion use and development of internal alternative provision arrangements and SEN would be beneficial. Additionally strategic experience in these areas and involvement in the secondary phase would be advantageous.
This roll offers flexible working arrangements and hybrid working (mix of working from home and office).
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Education Effectiveness Partner who will:

  • Champion and develop practice that promotes equality diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategies in schools central services and other educational settings (e.g. Further Education Colleges).
  • Provide advice and support to schools to inform practice that promotes the prevention of and tackles the leading causes for suspensions permanent exclusions and longterm absenteeism
  • Manage national and local initiatives to improve teaching and learning outcomes for all children and young people.
  • Gather interpret and apply performance data to identify areas of high or underperformance.
  • Have strong analytical and problemsolving skills demonstrated through experience of successful management of significant programmes or projects which include the planning managing and delivering of transformation strategies and influencing partners to deliver within a programme framework.
  • Have an awareness of a local authority statutory duties and national/local initiatives and can demonstrate they can adapt their Qualified Teacher Status and knowledge of the 516 education sectors and performance management systems to support the requirements on both the local authority and statefunded schools
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver complex information to nonspecialist staff

The nature of the work may involve working outside normal hours

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

The Education Effectiveness Partner will play an integral role as part of the Education Effectiveness Team to successfully implement national and local initiatives to promote and embed school improvement strategies within educational settings where Leicestershire children are educated; to secure the best start in life for all our children particularly the most vulnerable.
