Job Description
Location: Palo Alto CA
JD:
1. Design and drafting of sheet metal components using CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS and Creo.
2. Development and prototyping of mechanical components based on design specifications.
3. Experience / good understanding of Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T).
4. Experience in Tolerance stack up analysis.
5. Conduct functional and performance testing of prototypes and document results.
6. Create and manage BOMs (Bill of Materials) and engineering change requests in SAP.
7. Ensure compliance with design standards safety regulations and quality requirements.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and manufacturing processes.
9. Ensure compliance with medical device standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 13485 FDA).
10. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for design history files (DHF).
11. Collaborate with multi crossfunctional teams for design reviews and manufacturing feasibility.
