Job Summary:
Location: Nebraska Methodist CollegeResponsibilities:
1. Collaborate with faculty and health system employees to design and deliver innovative and evidencebased content in varied formats (live inperson and online) following accreditation standards
2. Adhere to budget and quality outcomes
3. Ensure and maintain required documentation for compliance with safety environmental and infection control standards and with local state and federal regulations
4. Maximize capacity in existing programs and support new opportunities adhering to budget and quality outcomes
5. Manage admissions process for short term certificate courses includes reviewing high school and college transcripts reviewing immunization records to ensure compliance enforcing deposit and refund process communicating approvals and denials with students
6. Coordinate schedules and syllabus with instructors
7. Facilitate changes to course content as needed
8. Hire initiate contracts provide feedback and manage work schedules for adjunct instructors
9. Adapt to changing technology; work independently; utilize critical thinking skills; organize and prioritize work; coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously; read interpret research explain and apply laws rules regulations policies and procedures related to department business; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
10. Ensure all staff schedules are accommodated by altering available hours for assessment as needed
11. Maintain update skills lab equipment and supplies to meet the needs of the Health System

Job Description:
Education
Bachelor in Nursing required.
Masters in Nursing preferred.
Experience
13 years experience in educational setting with emphasis on assessment and staff development preferred
24 years experience project planning preferred
License/Certifications
Current valid Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) License valid compact multistate license to work in Nebraska or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills ability to speak in front of small and large groups good listening skills and the ability to work with individuals and groups effectively.
Advanced knowledge of educational principles practices and adult learning principles.
Ability to set goals and objectives prioritize and plan work activities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated understanding of creating opportunities for nontraditional students through online course and innovative program delivery strategies.
Ability to be flexible and change program directives depending on needs of the college and health system and demonstrates professionalism by actions communications and behaviors
Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and business sense and the ability to manage budgets
Possess understanding of (or ability to master) the regulatory guidelines of the American Association of Credentialing of Nurses the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services and other regulatory/accreditation standards.
Advanced skills in standard software applications including Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); internet research skills; ability to master fluency in webbased software technologies database software and registration systems.
Relevant experience in online course delivery and content managements systems preferred.
