Responsibilities
Position Purpose:
Take a technical leadership position in the fixed income and securities IT development area support them in their new and ongoing technology initiatives start off with the fixed income business unit
but not limited to it later on take on and support other groups like equities foreign exchange futures etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver highperformance trading and risk platforms.
- Drive collaboration across development operations and business teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
- Ensure team adherence to software development best practices including Agile methodologies.
- Technical Development & Architecture
- Architect design and oversee the development of financial systems focused on fixedincome trading risk and market data.
- Manage exchange connectivity systems including FIX protocol integration and market data feeds.
- Ensure system scalability reliability and security in highfrequency trading environments.
- Take ownership of legacy trading platforms maintain and enhance it as per evolving business needs.
- Operations & Risk Management
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to develop systems that meet regulatory standards.
- Optimize operational workflows to reduce latency manage connectivity issues and ensure data integrity.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders including traders analysts and senior management.
- Deliver technical roadmaps and ensure ontime highquality delivery of key projects.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in C# C and SQLJava
- Handson experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with market data platforms exchange connectivity and FIX protocol.
- Frontmiddle back office front end and back end systems and workflows
- GUI frameworks like WPF React Javascript
- CI/CD pipeline
- Domain Knowledge:
- Indepth understanding of fixed income trading risk management and financial operations.
- Experience in handling market data and ensuring seamless connectivity with exchanges.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and grow engineering teams in a highpaced environment.
- Experience with project management tools and Agile development practices.
- ProblemSolving Abilities:
- Expertise in debugging optimizing trading systems and mitigating risks in realtime operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with financial institutions or fintech companies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) for financial applications.
- Knowledge of machine learning or advanced analytics for financial data.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
