Oversee technologydriven projects within the Maintenance & Repair department ensuring seamless from planning to deployment. Responsible for managing 3rd party software vendors tracking defects and enhancements performing user acceptance testing and leading system onboardings and training efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead & execute M&R related projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee internal & external software providers monitor service levels escalate issues and ensure system performance meets business needs and contractual scope
- Collaborate with leadership IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements provide updates and drive adoption of system improvements
- Act as liaison between corporate M&R team and IT support team and lead system changes to accommodate changing business requirements
- Oversee M&R system enhancements defects support tickets list driving items to completion
- Facilitate and perform user acceptance testing to ensure solutions align with business needs
- Function as systems superuser and act as subject matter expert for M&R systems & processes
- Communicate notable system deployments and changes to affected end users
- Develop & oversee comprehensive strategy for onboarding training and continuous education to ensure users adopt & maximize use of system and tools
- Work with repair vendors to establish successful EDI transmission of work orders
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in appropriate field of study or relevant work experience
- 5 years of experience in intermodal transportation logistics industries preferred
- PMP CSM or similar certification preferred
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to train system users ensuring smooth adoption and efficient use
- Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening
