Job Description
Location: Hayward CA
Work Model: On-site
Employment Type: Full-time
An experienced Project Manager is sought to lead steel fabrication and erection projects within the construction sector. The successful candidate will oversee all stages of the project lifecyclefrom estimating and planning through execution to close-outensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract award through to completion.
- Collaborate closely with estimators engineers fabricators erectors and subcontractors to align project objectives.
- Review drawings specifications and contracts to define clear scopes of work.
- Track project schedules procurement activities and budget adherence.
- Conduct site visits lead project meetings and promptly address field issues.
- Maintain effective communication with clients suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations codes and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in steel fabrication erection or construction project management.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Bluebeam MS Project or Procore.
- Strong knowledge of structural drawings welding standards and construction sequencing.
- Excellent organizational leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
