Pay:$25.60 49.15 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.
We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technicians you are a liaison between our internists and our clients regarding patient histories care instructions lab results patient updates and other topics as requested by the doctors. You will be involved with client contact through phone calls email and in person conversations. Additionally you will be assisting with endoscopic and ultrasound procedures filling prescriptions taking x rays and obtaining lab samples. Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills .
As an IM Veterinary Technician you will...
Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg /mg etc..
Induce monitor and recover anesthesia
Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI nasal urinary airway). Clean and maintain equipment following procedure.
Discharge IM patients from the hospital including basic client education such as insulin injection SQ fluid and feeding tube demonstrations.
Additional job duties as assigned.
