Job Description
As a Recruitment Coordinator youll play a key role in supporting our recruitment team by delivering a peoplefirst experience thats organised professional and engaging for every candidate. From sourcing talent to coordinating interviews and managing preemployment checks youll be hands on and at the heart of the candidate journey.
Were looking for someone who genuinely loves connecting with people. If picking up the phone having a good krero and helping someone take the next step in their journey sounds like your kind of day you might be just who were after.
Key responsibilities:
- Calling and phone screening candidatesyoull be the friendly first voice they hear helping to assess their fit and guide them through the process
- Using job boards social media and networks to find great people and start meaningful conversations
- Coordinating interviews and supporting hiring managers to keep the process running smoothly
- Managing preemployment checks (police vetting references and other rolespecific requirements)
- Supporting info evenings assessment centres and communityfocused careers events
- Maintaining strong readytogo talent pools in our CRM for both paid and volunteer roles
- Jumping in to support Recruitment Advisors as needed
Qualifications :

- Experience working as a Candidate Manager or Recruitment Coordinator in an internal recruitment or agency environment preferred
- Youre a natural peopleperson who gets energy from meaningful conversations
- Youre techsavvy and confident using recruitment systems and digital tools
- Organised detailfocused and comfortable juggling a busy todo list
- A genuine interest in delivering a great experience for both candidates and hiring managers
