Job Description
Reason for Hiring
The Automotive High Performance Compute (HPC) team is seeking an experienced SoC Senior Program Manager to own a next generation SoC product throughout the complete lifecycle: ideation architecture design development manufacturing bring up and customer launch.
Critical aspects of the role include on given timelines program budget responsibility program escalation path ownership monitoring and reporting of program progress comparison of performance against goals (technical and commercial) as well as overall program ownership and accountability.
Leadership of cross functional teams including HW SW AI and Systems as well as strong customer and internal executive leadership is expected. Program is composed of project teams who are distributed globally including Japan India Vietnam and United States.
Role Responsibilities
This position is a great opportunity to take ownership of a key automotive SoC product integrating the latest technology and process nodes into a bestinclass product.
- Complete ownership and accountability for the given programs with strong exposure to executive leadership from Renesas our customers and our key partners
- Create and manage business plan and program budget with strong support from contributing project teams (HW SW AI marketing)
- Establish drive and maintain the overall program plan including regular program reporting to both internal and external teams
- Define all milestones and track on a regular basis. Highlight issues and build options for mitigation/resolution. Ensure risk analysis is complete and maintained including options and trigger dates.
- Organize and hold regular Program Development Team meetings. Create regular data driven updates for internal and external consumers
- Lead cross functional teams across multiple locations to deliver the program.
- Maintain program budgets and highlight changes against the plan.

Qualifications :
MUST
- 10 years of experience in the semiconductor engineering field with a focus on the complete lifecycle of SoC platforms.
- Experience in managing large multidisciplinary global SoC product delivery teams.
- Proven track record of successfully program managing complex SoC products and delivering highquality platforms to customers.
- Strong experience with customer communication
- Strong experience managing multinational teams across time zones and native languages
- Able to communicate smoothly at a business level in both Japanese and English
