Oliver Inc. is seeking a folding cartons expert to join our company as the Finishing Manager of the folding/gluing department.
With a passion for precision and a lean mentality the Finishing Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success maximizing efficiencies and minimizing costs. You will lead a team of technicians and work collaboratively with various departments to guarantee the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes.

About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Finishing Manager you will:
- Supervises all operations related to folding/gluing and flatpack including all department personnel.
- Oversees the daytoday operations of the Department evaluates employees and resolves personnel and production problems.
- Maintains product quality and monitors operations for all jobs paying special attention to budget and throughput.
- Interfaces with other departments to continually improve efficiencies in workflow and increase customer satisfaction.
- Identifies need and schedules overtime as appropriate.
- Plans and monitors efficient use and maintenance of equipment.
About You:
Youre a fit for the role of Finishing Manager if your background includes:
- A thorough knowledge of printing finishing and folding cartons together with a broad knowledge of related technical or administrative areas to apply that knowledge to varied and complex situations is preferred.
- Two years of college or technical school a plus
- Eight or more years management experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the printing industry with a focus on finishing and folding carton production.
- Ability to motivate develop and coach department personnel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative problem solver with high attention to detail.
- Ability to respond to complex inquiries or complaints from customers and to speak to groups of customers and/or Oliver employees.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw conclusions and to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to spend 75 of day walking or standing.
